What this site is
WaterSort.in is a website about the Water Sort Puzzle — the colour-sorting logic puzzle where you pour liquid between bottles until each bottle holds a single colour. The site does two things:
- It hosts a free browser version of the puzzle with 30 levels, no install and no account.
- It publishes written guides on the rules, strategy, planning, common mistakes and specific level solutions.
Who operates it
The site is operated by Galaxy Studio, the developer of the Water Sort Puzzle app for Android published on Google Play. Galaxy Studio builds casual puzzle games; this website is the studio's home for the browser version of the puzzle and its guide content.
You can reach us by email at support@watersort.in, or through the contact page. We deliberately do not list personal details of individual team members.
Why the site exists
Water Sort is easy to start and surprisingly hard to be good at. Most players learn by trial and error, reach the five or six colour boards, and stall — not because they lack practice, but because nobody explained the two things that decide these puzzles: how much usable free space you hold, and how many separate pieces each colour is split into.
The guides on this site are the explanations we wished existed. They are written in plain language, they use examples you can open and try in the browser game, and they are kept as short as the topic allows.
How the content is made
- The guides are written by us, based on playing and building the game. They are not compiled from other sites.
- The levels are fixed and verified. Each level is generated from a fixed seed and checked by a solver before it loads, so the boards described in the level walkthroughs are exactly the boards you see.
- We do not publish invented statistics, testimonials or ratings. Where a detail belongs to the Android app rather than this site, we link to the Google Play listing instead of restating it, because store details change.
- Corrections are welcome. If a walkthrough step or a rule description is wrong, email us and we will fix it.
About the game itself
Water Sort Puzzle belongs to a family of sorting puzzles: a small set of rules, no hidden information, no randomness during play, and difficulty that comes entirely from ordering your moves. A board can be trivial or unsolvable depending on your first three pours. That is what makes it worth writing about — there is real technique involved, and it can be taught.
If you are new, start with how to play. If you know the rules and want to improve, read the strategy guide.
